Los Angeles-based DP Dale Obert is currently shooting "Untitled Lee Romaire / Kashmira Shah sci-fi thriller" and it's 2013 sequel in Louisiana, Mojave and Los Angeles. It is directed by Emmy winner Romaire and stars Shah (My Bollywood Bride).
Dale has many credits and clients to his name including the following: Carnival Cruiselines, Peugeot, Am Pm, Lockheed Martin, Miss USA, Subaru Outback commercials with Mel Gibson and "American History X", to name a few. Dale is also a recent ADDY Award winner for commercial cinematography on, "Don't Feed the Bears", directed by Romaire.
Boston's Roxbury Film Festival awarded Dale a "Technical Excellence" nod for his work on feature "Runt", photographed in Paris, London, Belgium and Jamaica. He also shot the award winning feature, "Chasing Happiness" starring Cerina Vincent and Kashmera Shah for Stonelock Pictures. CH was captured with Thomson VIPER FilmStream HD camera using Zeiss DigiPrime lenses.
Besides shooting with VIPER, Dale has worked with Arri Alexa, Red, Panavision Genesis and motion picture film using Arri, Aaton, Moviecam and Panavision.
He has a valid US Passport with experience working in Europe, Caribbean, Southeast Asia and Central America. His Arri SR3, Canon T3i, Panasonic HVX 200 cam with (3) 16gb P2 cards, Arri lighting package, grip and rigging support ready to go at a moment's notice.
